Working on my project 04

Focusing on another one of the ideas I'm going with. I decided to put the Helvetica text block as the background and then use the manipulated text on top. I then decided to try it in different colours and see what ways I could go with it

As suggested by a classmate, I decided to try using the cursive I created and integrated into line work of a bulb and use that. So I had a go:

I like how it has turned out so I think I may try to follow this idea and see where it goes

Another idea for my project was to do something with a flow and the idea of a fuse. The fuse being the start of an idea or a spark but the effect was quite hard to pull off in photoshop especially on line work. So I did not carry on with the idea I still liked the cursive aspect of the writing though so I still want to do something with it. The designs however are below:

From my previous attempt at a homework to manipulate three letters. I did like the way I had done it so I decided to try at manipulating the other letters I would need to spell "Reasons to be Creative" (the digital media festival I have chosen to rebrand). Below are picture to illustrate what I have achieved and what I manipulated to get there:

After doing a presentation on Joshua Davis. I was inspired by him to try to recreate some of the designs he does. However, they didn't turn out as well I would have though and didn't really know what direction to take it. Below are the attempted designs:

I then decided to have a try at the background for it but again, it did not turn out too well on the first try:
